The UWA Winthrop Scholarship is awards to eligible high-achieving Year 12 students to encourage. Also, assist them to commence and undertake undergraduate studies at The University of Western Australia (‘the University’). Eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship and do not need to submit an application.

UWA Winthrop scholarship Australia is available to undertake Undergraduate level programs at University of Western Australia.

Undergraduate Degree Program in Physical Sciences and Mathematics, Engineering. Additionally,  Education, Architecture, Design and Planning, Business and Law. Scholarship Benefits:

The University of Western Australia will provide an award amount of $20,000.00 to encourage and assist eligible high-achieving Year 12 students for the academic year 2020/2021.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

  • Must apply through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) whilst in Year 12 for a place at the University and recommend a course at the University as their first preference in the first round of offers.
  • Also, must accomplish an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of at least 99.90.
  • Moreover, should have been selected for a UWA Fogarty Foundation grant and achieve the required ATAR.
  • Also, should attain other academic or outstanding achievement as per the Coursework Scholarships Committee.
