Duties
Basic Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and comprehensive web strategy to support communicating key messages to internal and external stakeholders and advance the University’s mission through innovative approaches and creative solutions
- Likewise, lead web developers, designers and editors to understand and meet the information needs of users, provide research and adoption of effective design strategies, and provide resources and consulting services
- Also, oversee the development and management of the University’s web presence through appropriate tools and processes
- Furthermore, roster a culture of collaboration and transparency
Essential Duties
- Provide leadership and comprehensive web strategy to support communicating key messages to internal and external stakeholders and advance the University’s mission through innovative approaches and creative solutions
- Advise executive leadership on web technologies, digital strategy, third party application integration and user experience principles
- Also, create a long-term plan for expansion and improvement of the University’s web strategy, products and resources
- Lead and participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive web strategy to improve the user experience, provide brand consistency and administer role-based access for SEO optimization efforts across all sections of the University’s web presence
- Likewise, ensure the University’s websites meet web content accessibility guidelines, usability standards and performance requirements
- Also, in conjunction with the Division of Marketing and Strategic Communications, coordinate and develop detailed user-interface documents, mock-ups, and prototypes to transform the University’s web presence into an effective marketing and strategic communication platform
- Additionally, maintain and share a broad, in-depth knowledge of digital trends, technology, equipment and/or systems within the field of work
- Additionally, provide reporting and updates on the health of the website and project status from any third party developers
