The University of Pittsburgh provides hundreds of scholarships every year for students. Overall, every year about 25% of freshmen joining University are awarded scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $25,000. However, scholarship type and amounts vary depending upon the academic merits, performance, and SAT score.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for international scholarships and benefits, you must

  • Have applied for studies at the University of Pittsburgh
  • Have good excellent marks in your previous academic program
  • IELTS score of minimum 7 with not less than 6 in each band
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 100 with not less than 21 in each band
  • A competitive SAT score

Scholarship type

The scholarship will cover the tuition fee of the course program. In addition to that, the scholarship is renewable but however, you need to achieve at least a GPA of 3 for that. Furthermore, you need to comply with other terms and conditions of the scholarship.

Application process

To apply, you have to do nothing other than sending an application for study. However, you might need to supply the following documents to claim the scholarship.

  • Score and evidence of SAT and English language proficiency
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Academic records
  • Financial documents

Application deadline

Because of no separate application process, this scholarship does not have any deadline as it is available in each intake.
