Fully Funded Scholarships are available for deserving students at the University of Michigan.

University of Michigan is a public research university in Ann Arbor. Founded in 1817, the university is one of the foremost research universities in the United States. Also, the university is a founding member of the Association of American Universities. Moreover, it has affiliations with  50 MacArthur Fellows, 25 Nobel Prize winners, 6 Turing Award winners and 1 Fields Medalist. Eligibility for Stamps Program

First-year undergraduates on the Ann Arbor campus. The university nominates prospective freshmen with high academic achievement who have has admission as first-year undergraduates for consideration through the admissions process.

Academic achievement is on the basis of high school grade point average and SAT/ACT test scores. Exceptional talent in the arts and sciences is also considered in the nomination process. Furthermore, other attributes such as demonstrated leadership qualities, outstanding academic credentials, and a stellar commitment to the student’s communities are considered as well.

Worth and Benefits

The scholarship pays a student’s full cost of attendance at U-M Ann Arbor for four years. Besides the scholarship, Stamps Scholars at Michigan receive:

  • Membership in the U-M Stamps Scholar Society student organization
  • Potential funding of up to $10,000 to support study abroad, community service, research and internships.
  • Membership in the National Stamps Scholars organization with opportunities to network with Stamps Scholars at more than 40 colleges and universities.
