Scholarships at Brown University, USA

Fully Funded Scholarships are available at Brown University.

Brown University is an Ivy League research university in Providence, Rhode Island. The university is the seventh-oldest institution of higher education in the United States as it was established in 1764. With the motto of ‘In God We Hope’, it is the first college in the U.S. to accept students regardless of their religious affiliation. The university comprises the College, the Graduate School, Alpert Medical School, the School of Engineering, the School of Public Health as well as the School of Professional Studies. Moreover, the university has affiliations with 8 Nobel Prize winners. Above all, the university is in 56th position in the QS World University Rankings 2019.

Brown University meets 100% of the demonstated need of its admitted students. The average financial aid package to the students is $47438 per year. Brown University does not offer aid based on academic achievement, athletic ability besides financial need. Furthermore, financial aid eligibility is dependent solely on economic circumstances. All first year applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States will be admitted to Brown on a need-blind basis. As for the international students, the admissions is on a need-aware basis. However, for those international applicants it admits, it meets 100% of their demonstrated financial need. Through an initiative called The Brown Promise, the University provides financial aid packages for Brown undergraduates.
