Every third student has a dream of either getting Fulbright Scholarship or getting into Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and then there was Dolph Lundgren. And can you imagine about rejecting Fulbright Scholarship to study in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology? Well, no one can imagine doing that except that aggressive looking man who played as Ivan Drago in the movie Rocky IV. Yes, you are right, Dolph Lundgren, that gunner from Expendables. He rejected the Fulbright Scholarship to study at MIT. How can he do that, isn’t it? But he did it anyway, that was back in 1983

Dolph Lundgren,  a Swedish actor, director, screenwriter, film producer, and martial artist is one of the very few simpletons who dares to reject the Fulbright Scholarship to study in Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A chance to study free with zero cost in the top university of the world. He shocked the world by rejecting Fulbright Scholarship, a fully funded provision of studying in MIT and later he agreed to be a bodyguard of Jamaican – American singer Gracy Jones. Well, how can someone reject the Fulbright Scholarship and work as a bodyguard?

Lundgren is one of the highly educated actors in Hollywood. He holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney which is one of the best universities in the world, where his bachelor’s degree is from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. He holds the rank of 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin karate and was European champion in 1980–81.
