The first thing you need to do is realize what you are, where you are and how you are? If you are going down then you must realize that and aware yourself. No medicine can cure your mental health but waking up and working on it can do. So, first, you have to know yourself and realize that you need to go along with life.
Leisure and Recreational activities
Never engage in dull and boring works and operation for a long time. Strangling with those kinds of toils will raze you physically as well as emotionally. Try to have a fun break and breathing space in between your study and works.
Make strong connections
Build strong friendships and bond with peoples. Never sit in the dark room with your door shut. Go out on a holiday or a barbeque with friends and relatives. Help them and expect them to help you back when you need it.

Have enough rest and proper sleep
Your mental state will be automatically tired if your physical state is restless and exhausted. Stay healthy and do enough rest that your body asks for. Similarly, do not stay awake until late at night. Close your eyes to seize slumber before 10 pm. You need 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night.
Love, treat and inspire yourself
You have to love, treat and inspire yourself for your emoetional growth. Have a healthy way of living. Take care of yourself and save yourself from emotional distress and physical infirmities. Build up a spirit and inspire yourself daily.
Yoga and meditation
Practice some yoga and meditation to make your brain and heart healthy. It helps you to manage stress. It sharpens your mind and attentions ability as well.
