Funded Scholarships at Royal Holloway University of London 2020

The Royal Holloway, University of London opens applications for funded scholarships for all nationals. The scholarship’s name is Dina and Jessica Nichols Scholarship. Interested applicants can apply until 26th June 2020.

The University offers scholarships for the Masters’s students in the field of History.  Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) provides this scholarship. The value of this scholarship is Partial Funding, Tuition fee reduction + 12,000 pounds towards living costs

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the funded scholarships at Royal Holloway

  • The scholarship is open for students of all nationalities.
  • The candidates must have achieved a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
  • Also, they should be new full-time students with Home, EU or International fee status.
  •  Additionally, they must also hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study one of the following courses:MA in
  • Holocaust Studies
  • History
  • Crusader Studies
  • History: Hellenic Studies
  •  History: Public History
  •  Late Antique and Byzantine Studies
  • as well as  Medieval Studies

Value of scholarship

  • There is a wave in tuition fees and living costs which contribute to the value of 12,000 pounds.
  • Also, 12,000 pounds scholarship will be paid in the first year of study. The University does not offer additional payments in any subsequent years

Application Procedure

The candidates must provide a supporting statement of no longer than 500 words which should include:

  • Academic achievements they are specifically proud of
  • Additionally, the reason they chose the degree they have applied for
  • Furthermore, their visions or plans about  utilizing the MA in their future research and career path
  • Also, the importance of scholarship in  helping them achieve it
