The scholarship provides a£3,000 fee discount in the first year of three-year undergraduate course. Students will receive a further £1,500 fee discount for every subsequent year of study. Furthermore, students joining in the second year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount in year two and in year three. Likewise, students joining in the third year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount.
You must fufill the criterias below in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
- be an International student with ‘overseas’ fee status
- be a self-funded student
- similarly, be accepted and enrolled on a full-time taught course, either undergraduate or postgraduate, at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus
- meet all individual course requirements
The Northumbria Global Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, therefore, you do not need to make a separate application.
