The applications for the Funded General Scholars Program at Wuhan University, China have opened. Interested applicants can apply until April 30, 2020.
Chinese Government Scholarship-China-Africa Friendship Program is a full scholarship established by the Ministry of Education to support Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students from African Countries for six-month general studies in China. Wuhan University is one of the prestigious universities which undertakes this program to recruit students.
Eligibility
The candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the General Scholars Program
- The candidates must be full-time applicants of African countries’ nationalities and in good health.
- Also, the applicants for English-medium programs should provide score reports of the English Language test. TOEFL requires 80, IELTS requires 5.5. However, for those who could not offer the above mentioned standard English test results, Wuhan University will organize additional oral or written tests.
- Moreover, the University may exempt native English-speaking applicants from providing the above English proficiency certificate.
- Similarly, this program also supports the students who had been studied or are studying in China.
- Furthermore, applicants should not have received any other types of scholarships.
Scholarship Value
- Tuition waiver as well as accommodation(700RMB/per month)
- Living allowance ( 3000RMB/per month) as well as comprehensive medical insurance
Application Procedure
- The candidates must register and submit their online application and download and print a hard copy of the “Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship” after completing the form.
- Also, they must register and submit their online application at Wuhan University Online Application System for International Students at the given link. Then, they must submit online the completed “Application Form for International Scholars and Students of Wuhan University”
