Fully Funded Scholarships at University of Wellington in New Zealand

Victoria University of Wellington opens applications for the Fully Funded Scholarships at the University of Wellington. Interested candidates can apply until 1st November 2020.

The University is providing the scholarships for a Masters degree in the field applicable under courses offered at the university. It offers Wellington Master’s by Thesis Scholarship 2020 to encourage postgraduate research at Victoria University of Wellington, to students about to begin a full-time, research-focused Master’s degree.

Eligibility

The applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Fully Funded Scholarships

  • The applicants must intend to enroll full time at Victoria University of Wellington.
  • Additionally, they must be intending to enroll for a Master’s degree by thesis worth 90 points or more.

Value of the Scholarship

  • The scholarship comprises a $15,000 tax-free stipend, plus tuition fees for one year
  • In addition to that, the Scholarships Office will directly pay the fees to the University International students other than those from Australia who will be liable to pay the difference between the full international student fee and the domestic fee.
  • Moreover, the University will pay the scholarship stipend to each scholarship recipient in monthly installments.
  • Likewise, the Scholarships Office will make first such payment as soon as practicable after confirmation of enrollment.
  • Furthermore, a small allowance of up to $200 will be paid towards the cost of producing the thesis on receipt of an invoice.
