British Council IELTS Prize 2020(Prize-£3,000)

The applications for the British Council IELTS Prize 2020 have opened. Ten lucky candidates from the selected countries will get an incredible scholarship amount of £3,000 to fulfill their University dreams.

The prize is open to test takers living in Colombia, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates or Uzbekistan. Interested candidates can apply until 29th February 2020.

British Council awards the IELTS Prize to high-caliber individuals with the motivation to develop their career, and who demonstrate the potential to contribute to society what they have gained from their undergraduate or postgraduate study experience.

Eligibility Criteria

The interested candidates must meet the following requirements to receive the British Council IELTS Prize 2020

  • They must be 18 years or above
  • Also, they should live in the country you’re applying from
  • Similarly, they should have taken IELTS with the British Council between January 2019 and February 2020
  • Also, the candidates must have an overall IELTS band score of 5 or above
  • Moreover, the applicants must be applying for a first-year under/graduate degree in Fall 2020/Spring 2021
  • Furthermore, they should be applying to an institution that requires IELTS as part of its admission process.

Application Procedure 

The candidates must fill the online application form to apply for the scholarship as well as include the copies of the following documents

  • IELTS test report form
  • Also, their recent passport size photograph
  • Moreover, the candidates’ special requirements certificate 
  • Furthermore, their passport or any form of verification document to provide evidence for their residency in one of the above eligible countries.

Selection process

  • British Council will carry out the procedures like short-listing and final selection.
  • The panel will use the personal statement provided in the application for the selection process.
  • All the applicants with the special certificate requirements will automatically be shortlisted but only if they meet the eligibility requirements.
