Value of Scholarship
- The successful applicants of AIIMS – Merit Cum Need-Based Scholarships in India, 2020 will receive an award of Rs. 10,000.
- Additionally, the amount would be awarded during the Annual Dinner of the AIIMSONIANS which is held every year on 1st October.

About the Institution
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous government public medical colleges of higher education. An Act of Parliament has declared these institutions as Institutes of National Importance. Additionally, AIIMS New Delhi, the fore-runner institute, was established in 1956. Since then, 22 more institutes were announced. Also, as of January 2020, fifteen institutes are operating and eight more to become operational until 2025.
