Freshmen Scholarships
$7,000–$30,000
Scholarships are awarded by the admissions office based on a student’s overall academic achievements and are renewed each year at the same amount, provided the student continues to be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate and meets the renewal criteria as stated in the letter of acceptance.
Students who are awarded scholarships generally rank in the top 40% of their class in high school and/or have an 1100 or higher reading/writing plus math scores on the SAT or a 22 or higher composite ACT score. If you are required or choose to provide us with your SAT and/or ACT scores (these can be self-reported on the application or reported officially) we will select the highest score. Scholarships are offered only to incoming students.
Multiple Sibling Award
$2,000 per year, per eligible sibling
Beginning with the 2020-21 award year, full-time, undergraduate and graduate siblings concurrently in attendance at Quinnipiac, are eligible to receive an additional $2,000 award per year, in addition to their regular financial aid award. This award is applicable toward tuition, room, and board and is renewable each year in which siblings are concurrently in full-time attendance.
International Student Scholarship

Quinnipiac offers a small pool of scholarship funds that are awarded to international students who demonstrate strong academic achievement. Students must have a completed admissions application on file by March 1. Students must provide a statement of financial support for the remainder of their costs. Renewal is based upon continuing as a full-time student while maintaining satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the Quinnipiac University Catalog.
Transfer Student Scholarship
$6,500–$20,000
Transfer candidates are automatically reviewed for a merit scholarship, including Phi Theta Kappa awards, during the admissions process. There is no separate application or form necessary. Students with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.3 are considered. Awards range between $6,500 and $20,000 per year and are renewable provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 at Quinnipiac. However, scholarships are offered only to incoming students.
Athletic Scholarships
Athletic scholarships are available to incoming freshmen and transfer students. Quinnipiac University provides an NCAA Division I athletic program. Athletes must be recommended by the athletic director and coaching staff. Scholarships are based on the needs of the individual sports. For renewal, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress, full-time status and comply with both institutional and NCAA rules and regulations.

Theater Merit Scholarships

Students applying for acceptance into the BA in Theater program are encouraged to apply for a Merit Award in Theater. Students who show promise in any of the primary areas of theater may be awarded scholarships.
Further, awards are limited to incoming freshmen and transfers only. Interested students must major or dual major in the theater to be eligible. Also, awarded students need to remain a theater major or dual major in good academic standing for the award to continue in subsequent years.
