Responsibilities:
- The Financial Compliance Analyst provides leadership and direction for the establishment and maintenance of a university-wide strong internal control plan.
- Also, the position is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and collaborating with campus leadership to scope and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with at least five years of experience in process improvement, business operations, internal controls, financial accounting, analysis, or reporting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Also, comprehensive knowledge of financial and internal control concepts is a must.
- Additionally, a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, professional competence, organization team building capability, successful problem-solving experience, and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage change.
- Strong analytical and financial skills as well as leadership, interpersonal, communication (verbal/written), detail-oriented, complex problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills in addition to the ability to drive and guide change are required.
- Furthermore, ability to prioritize, work both independently and in collaboration with diverse individuals is essential.
- Exceptional relationship, team building, and influence skills required.
- Moreover, must possess initiative, self-direction and strong follow-through on all projects with the ability to bring projects to timely completion.
- Advanced information technology skills with a working knowledge of integrated administrative and financial software systems, data marts; collaborative applications such as OneNote, SharePoint and the latest Microsoft Office suite is essential.
