Job Summary
Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders.
The Fire Protection Publications (FPP) Project Manager (Curriculum Unit) is responsible for coordinating the development and completion of International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA)/FPP curriculum materials for national sale within planned schedules and budgets. Additionally, this position includes the direct supervision of six to eight full-time, one temporary Instructional Developer, and student employees.
Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in a related field or a Master’s degree and one year of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Secondary, Adult, Vocational or Occupational Education, Educational Psychology, Technical Writing, Fire Protection, Curriculum and Instruction or related field and four years of experience in curriculum development of training material at any level.
OR
Master’s degree Secondary, Adult, Vocational or Occupational Education, Educational Psychology, Technical Writing, Fire Protection, Curriculum and Instruction or related field and one year of experience in coordinating development of training material. Additionally, previous fire or emergency service curriculum development experience. Furthermore, experience in developing electronic learning products.
