University of Auckland-Hollinrake Memorial Prize 2020

Apply for the University of Auckland-Hollinrake Memorial Prize 2020. The deadline for the scholarship is ongoing. The scholarship is for Bachelors degree in the field of Music.

Furthermore, the Prize was established in 1957 as a result of public conscription organized by the Auckland Music Council in memory of the late Professor Horace Hollinrake, who was Professor of Music at the University of Auckland from 1935 to 1955.

Eligibility

  • TheUniversity will award the prize to the student who enrolls in a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music conjoint, or a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Music who achieved the highest grade point average (GPA) across at least three Stage II Music courses.
  • Additionally, in the event of a tie, the University will take the candidate’s cumulative GPA and contribution to the life of the University.

Value of Scholarship

  • The annual value of the Prize will be NZD 400.

The University of Auckland Council will award the prize upon the recommendation of the Head of the School of Music. Additionally, the applicants cannot share the Prize. Furthermore, the University of Auckland Council will not be bound to award the Prize in any year if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.
