The Snickel Lane Urban Art Award 2020

Apply for The Snickel Lane Urban Art Award 2020. The University of Auckland is offering scholarships for the Bachelors and Masters degree in the field of Fine Arts.

Additionally, the Snickel Lane Urban Art Award was established in 2016 by Argosy Property to offer an opportunity for a student to create and display public artwork and develop the expertise needed to succeed in this field supported by staff of Argosy and of Elam School of Fine Arts.

Eligibility 

  • To take up, the Award the candidate must enroll and have paid the fees, or arrange to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in a Doctorate of Fine Arts, Doctor of Philosophy with Creative Practice, Master of Fine Arts, Postgraduate Diploma of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) or the final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
  • Additionally, the Award is tenable by domestic or international students.
  • Furthermore, the Award will be made to the project judged to be the most meritorious designed for a specific site assigned by Argosy in the Snickel Lane development. Furthermore, the copyright of the project remains with the student.

Value of Scholarship

  • The University will make one award annually
  • Additionally, it will be of the value of up to NZD 10,000 to cover the cost of installation and materials for the project.

How to apply

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. Moreover, the University awards it on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee
