Starkoff Regional Scholarships at University of Queensland in Australia

Applications have opened for the Scholarships at the University of Queensland in Australia. The name of the scholarship is Palmer | Starkoff Regional Scholarship 2020. Interested candidates can apply until 8th March 2020. The University is providing the scholarship for the Bachelor’s degree in the following fields

  • Agriculture, Environment, Architecture, and Planning
  • Also, Business, Economics, Engineering, and Computing, Health and Behavioural Sciences, Law, Medicine

Eligibility

The candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for Scholarships at the University of Queensland in Australia

  • They must submit an application to the Academic Registrar by the closing date for applications.
  • Also, they must be domestic students in accordance with UQ’s Fee Policy.
  • They will be a commencing student in the year of the award.
  • Additionally, they should be able to demonstrate that they are financially disadvantaged.
  • Similarly, they will have completed their secondary schooling at a high school in an eligible region in the year immediately before attending their first year at UQ.
  • Also, the candidates must enroll or intend to enroll full-time in an approved program at UQ.
  • Furthermore, they should not hold another scholarship that the Academic Registrar considers to be similar.

The University will consider the following criteria while selecting the applicants

  • Furthermore, other evidence that may be deemed relevant by the selection committee to the recipient’s future academic success.

  • The value of this scholarship is Partial Funding, AUD 4,000 per year.
