Eligibility:
- To take up the Scholarship the candidate must enroll fulltime and pay the fees.
- Or, arrange to pay the fees, for a one-year (120 points) or two-year (240 points) Master of Arts degree at the University of Auckland, and be undertaking courses (see Note ii) and/or a researching a topic relating to Korean Studies.
- Additionally, the University will consider all applications in all areas of Korean studies but it encourages applicants specializing in the following areas are particularly to apply. They are, Anthropology, Ethnomusicology, Korean Diaspora Studies, Asian Studies, Linguistics, and Political Studies.
Furthermore, the University may not hold the scholarships concurrently with any University of Auckland scholarship, award, or grant. However, it may hold with any other award or grant as long as a) the terms of that award or grant permits, and b) the applicants inform the University of Auckland Council and it approves.
