Scholarships at Portland State University

Applications have opened for the Scholarships at Portland State University 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship now. The University is providing scholarships for bachelors degree in the courses available at the University. The name of the scholarship is the International Achievement Scholarship 2020.

The University awards the International Achievement Scholarship to new international undergraduate students on the basis of their academic achievement. Additionally, students who maintain high academic standing may receive funding for up to four years.

Furthermore, the University will consider all students automatically for the scholarship. Applicants need not submit a scholarship application.

Eligibility for Scholarships at Portland State University 

  • The scholarship is open to all nationalities.
  • Additionally, the candidates must meet all the program-specific requirements.
  • Also, eligible students typically have entering grade point averages (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 grading scale.
  • Similarly, students who have not yet met the TOEFL/English Language Proficiency requirement are eligible for this scholarship; however,  the University will delay the activation of the scholarship until after the ESL restriction has been lifted and the students are fully eligible for unrestricted enrollment in academic classes.
  • Additionally, the University restricts International Achievement Scholarship to new applicants only for up to 12 terms for freshmen and six terms for transfers. Students already enrolled at Portland State are not eligible.
  • Furthermore, Master’s and doctoral applicants may be eligible for this scholarship depending on funding availability.

Value of Scholarship

  • The successful applicants of The INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP 2020 will receive an amount of up to $4,500 annually.
