Ph.D. Studentship in the Department of Plant Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at Ghent University 2020 offers a Ph.D. fellowship in microbial systems genetics. Additionally, this Ph.D. envisages a dual degree between the KU Leuven and UGent.

The goal of the Ph.D. research is to develop and apply graph-based methods to study the adaptive evolution of microbial communities. Additionally, the research will be performed in close collaboration with microbial ecologists and microbial molecular biologists at the KU Leuven. Furthermore, the research focus of Ph.D. Studentship in the Department of Plant Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at Ghent University 2020 is on bioinformatics method development.
