The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is Israel’s second-oldest university, established in 1918, 30 years before the establishment of the State of Israel. The Hebrew University has three campuses in Jerusalem and one in Rehovot.

Description:

Hebrew University, a global Top 100 university, offers advanced degrees in Biomedical Sciences, taught in English, in cooperation with Hadassah Hospital – the perfect steppingstone for a career in academia or research, as well as in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries. 

Eligibility Criteria

An undergraduate GPA of 80 and above from a relevant field (Natural Sciences, Bio-Medicine, etc.) 

Exceptions:

  • Human Genetics – An undergraduate GPA of 82 and above from a relevant field
  • Also, an undergraduate GPA of 90 and above from a relevant field
  • Likewise, young Researchers- An undergraduate GPA of 90 and above from a relevant field

English Language

All courses are held in English. In addition, the thesis and any other papers you write during your studies will be in English.

Additionally, all students who do not come from an English-speaking country or have a degree from an academic institution whose course of study is not in English must take an English language proficiency exam before applying to the university.

Offered Benefits

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem offers merit-based scholarships of up to 100% of tuition costs to international students accepted to M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Biomedical Sciences. Living stipends are also available.
