The University of Leicester opens applications for the Presidential Scholarships in the UK.
The name of the scholarship is President’s Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme 2020. The University is giving away the scholarship for undergraduate students under all subjects except medicine.
Eligibility
The applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Presidential Scholarships in the UK.
- They must be classified as international students (non-EU) for fee purposes.
- Also, they should be starting a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course commencing in September 2020.
- Additionally, they cannot combine this scholarship with a full scholarship (for tuition fees and living costs) from any other source.
- Furthermore, the scholarship is not available to students studying Medicine (MBChB).
Value of the scholarship
- The President scholarship award value is 2,500 pounds for students achieving A level grades ABB or their equivalent, or 4,000 pounds for students achieving AAA or the equivalent.
- Additionally, this award is for each year of full-time study at the university, up to a maximum of three years.
- Moreover, the scholarship is available to students who achieve the above grades or equivalent and who join any undergraduate degree at the University of Leicester, excluding Medicine.
