The applications for the Presidential LEEP Scholarship at Clark University have opened. Interested candidates can apply until 1st February 2020.
Clark University has several different merits- and financial-based scholarships. The University will prioritize those admitted students who have excelled in secondary school and whose academic achievement and personal qualities indicate they will perform at the highest level.
- Clark University launched LEEP (Liberal Education and Effective Practice), a pioneering model of education that combines a robust liberal arts experience with authentic engagement in the world and workplace, in 2012.
- The University then introduced the Presidential LEEP Scholars Program.
- Presidential LEEP Scholars are relentlessly curious, have an appetite for learning, and are eager to make their marks in the world.
- Additionally, they are driven to develop new ideas, to grapple with issues of importance, and to engage with others on shared goals.
- Also, presidential LEEP Scholars persevere through setbacks, draw constructive ideas from diverse sources, and find creative solutions to daunting problems.
About the presidential LEEP scholarship
- The scholarship is awarded to approximately five students each year
- It covers full tuition, on-campus room, and board for all four years, regardless of a family’s financial need
- Additionally, it requires two additional scholarship essays due Feb. 1 for all applicants. Regular Decision applicants have until Feb. 1. EA/ED applicants who submit scholarship applications after Dec. 1 but before Feb. 1 will receive notification of their scholarship status in March.
- Furthermore, to maintain the scholarship, a student must meet year-to-year continuation requirements.

- Students must showcase great academic record and leadership potential placing them at the very top of Clark’s applicant pool.
- Also, they should demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a demanding academic schedule as well as collaborate with peers and professors
- Moreover, they must also meet an ambitious career and life goals and join a community of scholars with a commitment to global change.
