Apply for the National Scholars Awards for International Students at the University of Iowa. The deadline for the application is 1st March 2021. The scholarship is for a bachelor’s degree.
Additionally, it is for incoming first-year nonresident students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents or international students who graduate from a U.S. high school.
Eligibility for National Scholars Awards for International Students
The University automatically considers nonresident undergraduate first-year students who submit a complete application by March 1, 2021, for the National Scholars Award. Also, scholarship awarding and amounts are based on outstanding academic merit (standardized test scores and GPA) and exceptional promise at the University of Iowa.
Benefits
$2,000–$12,000 a year for up to four years.
Renewal for National Scholars Awards for International Students
Up to four years, or until you receive your bachelor’s degree (whichever comes first). Applicants must maintain continuous full-time enrollment at the University of Iowa (fall and spring terms). Also, a minimum 2.75 cumulative UI GPA. Likewise, continue to pay nonresident tuition for renewal. Furthermore, the University does the renewal reviews at the end of each semester.
