Charles Darwin University is the Australian public university in Darwin, Australia. This university was founded in 2003 when Northern Territory University merged with Menzies School of Health Research and Centralian College of Alice Springs. Charles Darwin University offers loads of graduate and undergraduate courses in fields of Health, Science, Engineering, Nursing, Business, Law, and so on. At the same time, CDU provides short courses and vocational trainings as well. However, the annual undergraduate tuition fees are $20,440 for business courses, $18,520 for Arts/Education, and $26,000 for Engineering/Science.
Scholarships at Charles Darwin University
In general, Charles Darwin University offers sundry amount of scholarships to students in order to support and encourage them for study. And, particularly, some scholarships are specially focused on talented and creative international students. Likewise, Charles Darwin University Global Excellence Award is the scholarship program for talented overseas students. Basically, CDU Global Excellence Award covers the 50% of tuition cost of a first year of study and after that, the scholarship will deduct the 10% tuition cost in the remaining year.
Eligibility
i. Firstly, you should be citizen of overseas country other than Australia and New Zealand and Second, you must be commencing a full-time study in Charles Darwin University.
ii. Following to that, you must meet the minimum course requirement and also English language test of CDU.
iii. Similarly, you must submit all the documents like transcript of previous program, bank statement, etc directed by the university. On the other hand, you must have at least 80% or equivalent GPA on your previous course study.
iv. Last but not least, you must not be beneficiary of any scholarship or funding from before.
Application process
All the applicants must attach the personal statement outlining why they need scholarship with the application. In addition to that, all the applicants must provide two references with their contact platform.
