The Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) as well as the Korean Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO) presents the Dream Together Masters Program for Students to pursue Masters Degre in Global Sports Management. The Seoul National University in the capital city of Korea hosts this fully-funded Dream Together scholarship for sports administrators or people who have a relation to the sports field (sports journalists, volunteers and etc.) to pursue a master’s degree in Korea.
All the individuals who wish to enroll in the Master’s program in Global Sports Management and have a background in the Sports are eligible for these scholarships. But the candidates must be eligible and should have the necessary credits and qualifications to enroll in the master’s program.
Scholarship Value
The Dream Together Master Global Sports Management Graduate Program is the full fee scholarships for international students. Moreover, the scholarships cover the costs including the tuition fee, flight tickets, dormitory fees, living expenses, and insurance fees. In addition to that, the incumbent will be also eligible for the additional stipend of about 1,000,000 KRW.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of study.
- Candidates must be former and current sports administrators or athletes.
- Applicants must have Korean citizenship. In addition to that, both of the parents of the candidates must not be of Korean descent.
- They must have sufficient command of both spoken and written English to take classes conducted entirely in English
- Potential and passion for sports management. Furthermore, they must be physically and mentally able to successfully complete the program.
Submissions
Candidates must submit the following documents to apply for the Fully-funded Dream Together Master Program scholarship in Korea
- Application Form as well as personal Statement and Study Plan.
- Two Letters of Recommendation (Form 3) from your professors and/or employers
- Official Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Studies) Transcript as well as Official Bachelor’s Certificate of Graduation.
- A copy of the applicant’s passport (or other official document indicating the applicant’s nationality)
- Copies of both parents’ passport (or other official documents indicating parents’ nationality)
- Official document indicating a parent-child relationship between the applicant and his/her parents (Applicant’s Birth Certificate or Household Register proving the parent-child relationship)
- Proof of English Proficiency: A score report of a recognized English proficiency test (TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, TEPS 551 (new TEPS 298) or higher), or any other official documents indicating proof of English proficiency (E.g. School profile/medium of instruction letter; if fully taught in English) (*) TOEFL ITP not acceptable.
- Curriculum Vitae (must clearly state current and/or previous position and affiliation)
- Certificate of Employment (Certificates from current and/or all previous jobs must be submitted)
- Supplementary Material (Awards, Scholarships, Proof of Language Proficiency except for English, etc.) – Optional
