Apply for the Dare to Dream Scholarships in Australia . The deadline for the application is 13th September 2020. The scholarship is for Bachelors. Masters, Ph.D degree.

A goal is anything you wish to accomplish. It can be to do with your emotional or physical well-being, to further your education or to help you get on track for your career of choice. Previous recipients used their scholarship on ballet lessons, music equipment, laptops, and so much more.

Eligibility for Dare to Dream Scholarships in Australia 

Any person living in Australia aged between 13 and 18 years old on Monday 6 September 2020 when applications close. The applicant either currently has cancer, or has had a diagnosis at any point in their life.

Benefits

Dare to Dream state scholarship recipients will receive up to $2,000. The winner of the national award will receive up to $5,000.

Application

Your application will be your response (written or filmed on your phone) to the three questions below.

1. How has cancer affected you?

This is where we want you to introduce yourself, your diagnosis and the impact it’s had on you your goals. This is how we get to know you and an insight into your cancer story.

2. What is the goal or aspiration that you want to achieve?

Your goal is personal – it can be big or small, that won’t be judged. What matters to us is that this goal is important to you, you’re passionate about it and will improve your quality of life!

3. How will this scholarship help you reach your goal?

Making sure to include what the cost of each item will be. e.g. $1000 for a laptop & $2500 for course fees, and which a will mean I have everything I need to do well in my course to becoming a youth worker.

As well as your response to the three questions above you will need a few key point of information

  • A letter from your health professional confirming your diagnosis
  • Also, a personal reference letter

Redkite is a non-government charity organisation based in Sydney, Australia. It supports young cancer patients up to the ages of 24 and their families with financial assistance, hospital services and rehabilitation activities, social services and grant-making activities.
