Our family is planning a vacation in Courchevel. This isn’t my wife’s first trip there, but it will be my first time. So I’m currently trying to get a handle on the local amenities. We’ve already sorted out the accommodations. Now we just need to figure out where’s the best place to rent skis. I’d like to find a place closer to the lifts. I really don’t want to waste extra time commuting every morning.

It’s also important to have a good selection of sizes. My teenage son is coming with me, and he’ll need a set too. I’ve been looking at maps and reviews, but there aren’t many specific details. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places. Does anyone know of any good places to rent gear in Courchevel? Does it make sense to book ski rentals in advance before we arrive?

And which part of Courchevel will you be staying in? I went there last winter. I had a really awesome, action-packed vacation. Have you checked out the ski rental options on the GetSki website https://getski.com/ ? You can actually rent skis right there on the spot. Many rental shops are located right next to the lifts. But there’s a risk they won’t have your size. Plus, prices are usually a bit higher. And here, if you book early, they even give you a discount. It’s especially convenient for families. I definitely wouldn’t wait until the last minute to figure this out. Does your son already have some skiing experience, or is he just starting out?
