        Yeah, Youngstown State University does provide scholarships based on merit. Here are some of them:

        Trustees’ Scholarship
        Total Worth: $5,000 per year
        Eligibility: $5,000 per year
        Minimum Criteria: Valedictorian
        Requirement for maintenance: 24 credit hours per academic year;Minimum 12 hours per term;3.0 overall GPA
        Separate application needed: No

        Youngstown State University provides aids at an average of 9269 per student meeting 37% of students need. 100% of students with need receive financial aid at an average of 5306 need-based grant. They also provide other scholarships including Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program for Medical Students and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Scholarship.
