        Yeah, St. Thomas University does provide scholarships based on merit. Here are some of them:

        Presidential Scholarships
        Total Worth: $12,000 – $15,000 per year
        Eligibility: $12,000 – $15,000 per year
        Requirement for maintenance: Maintain a 2.33 GPA

        Dean’s Scholarships
        Total Worth: $10,000 – $12,000 per year
        Eligibility: $10,000 – $12,000 per year
        Requirement for maintenance: Maintain a 2.33 GPA

        St. Thomas University Honor Scholarship
        Minimum Criteria: Maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have received a minimum of 28 on the ACT or 1100 on the SAT

        They also provide other scholarships including Athletic Scholarships and Catholic High Schools.
