    Quick question for locals or expats. Is the subway system in Kyiv hard to understand for foreigners? I need to travel between the railway station and the left bank quite a bit during my stay. Are there English signs, or should I prepare in advance? Thanks a lot!

        Don’t worry, the underground is super fast, but it gets pretty deep and confusing during rush hours. I strongly suggest keeping this updated kyiv metro map open on your phone. When I visited, this visitkyiv page helped me easily figure out all the station connections and river crossings. It really saves a lot of time!
