Details The Founders’ Scholarship recognizes a student’s potential to become an active, engaged member of the Stevenson community. All high school seniors who have completed a campus visit are invited to interview for this scholarship by registering for a Specialty Scholarship Interview.
Leadership Scholarship
Total Worth $2,000
Details Leadership Scholars is a comprehensive initiative that offers participants the opportunity to engage in leadership education through personal exploration, community engagement, and collaborative problem solving. Scholars will develop effective and ethical leadership skills that prepare them to make a positive difference on campus and in the larger global community.

Application Requirements
In order to be considered for the Leadership Scholars Program and $2,000 annual Leadership Scholarship, students must do the following:

Demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ethical leadership as an incoming freshman
Have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or an 80 on a 100-point scale
Have a minimum score of 1100 on the new two-section SAT or a 22 ACT composite score
Apply to Stevenson by January 15 for the Speciality Scholarship deadline. Stevenson’s application for admissions will be available on August 1
Complete the Leadership Scholars application (available August 1) by January 15
Complete the Application for Service and Leadership Scholars Programs by January 15.
Stevenson University Leadership Scholars applications will also be considered for the Founders’ Scholarship when interviewing. There is no separate application for Founders’. Students selected for the Stevenson University Leadership Scholars will also receive the $2,000 Founders’ Scholarship in addition to the $2,000 Leadership Scholarship for a total of $4,000 in scholarship funding on top of any previously awarded SU Merit-Based Scholarship. Students not selected for the Stevenson University Leadership Scholars may be awarded a Founders’ Scholarship of $2,000 on its own.

Students who meet all of the above application requirements will be notified whether or not they have been selected for Stevenson University Leadership Scholars program by Friday, March 1.
