National Theatre Drama School

The National Theatre Drama School in Melbourne is Victoria’s longest-established actor-training institution, and one of the leading acting schools in Australia. Based in its own purpose-built facilities in St Kilda, the school offers a range of full time and part time acting courses to help people with a range of backgrounds, ages and abilities develop their skills in stage performance, and in acting for film and television. This includes a nationally-accredited professional training course, the full time acting course Advanced Diploma of Acting and a part-time professional foundation program, as well as a range of recreational programs for both adults and children. As well as a professional actor training component, drama courses also include development of related skills including directing, producing, design and writing for stage and screen.
