Friends, I really don’t know much about these things. To be honest, I just didn’t study much in school 🙂 In general, I was thinking about getting residency in the US. I read a little bit about it and I often saw that the main reason why employers are looking for people with EB-3 visas is the labor shortage. I am interested in the state of North Carolina because that is where I am considering to live and work in the future if I get this visa. Can someone tell me more about labor shortage?

In short, labor shortage is when there are many vacancies and people need to work, but there are no suitable workers for that job. I hope I explained it well 🙂 I saw an article about labor shortage in North Carolina: https://eb3.work/north-carolinas-labor-shortage-in-2025/ , you can read it. It is written quite clearly here, I think you will understand. In general, the situation is that in the United States they are looking for permanent workers, and for an EB-3 visa you need to work at least one year in the job you applied for. So it is a win-win situation, the employer gets a permanent and interested employee, and the employee gets residency in the United States.
