        Yeah, Missouri State University Springfield does provide scholarships based on merit. Here are some of them:

        Presidential Scholarship
        Total Worth: $12,500 per year
        Eligibility: $12,500 per year
        Minimum Criteria: ACT composite score of 31 (SAT of 1390) or higher from a test taken on or before October of your senior year and a cumulative sixth semester GPA of 3.90 or higher.
        Requirement for maintenance: complete 27 MSU credit hours per year with a cumulative MSU GPA of 3.50 or higher. To renew for their fourth year, Presidential Scholars must also complete an average of 40 hours of community or campus service each year during their first three years.
        Separate application needed: Yes
        Application deadline: December 1

        Hutchens/SGA Centennial Leaders Scholarship
        Total Worth: $2,500 per year
        Eligibility: $2,500 per year
        Minimum Criteria: have a GPA of 3.00 or higher and have an ACT of 20 or higher (or an SAT score of 1030 or higher)
        Requirement for maintenance: Complete at least 27 MSU credit hours per year with a cumulative MSU GPA of 2.75 or higher and successfully fulfill the requirements of the leadership development program.
        Separate application needed: Yes
        Application deadline: January 30

        Out-of-State Tuition Waiver
        Total Worth: Full waiver of out-of-state tuition
        Eligibility: Full waiver of out-of-state tuition
        Minimum Criteria: ACT of 24 or higher or SAT of 1160 or higher or GPA of 3.50 or higher or Top 25% of class
        Requirement for maintenance: completion of 27 credit hours per year with a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
        Separate application needed: No

        Missouri State University Springfield provides aids at an average of 9294 per student meeting 57% of students need. 98% of students with need receive financial aid at an average of 6204 need-based grant. They also provide other scholarships including Inclusive Excellence Scholarship and Missouri State Promise Scholarship.
