Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out how screen mirroring works on a Philips TV. I have an iPhone, and I’d like to mirror my phone’s screen to the TV without using a bunch of wires or adapters. The TV is relatively new—just a few years old—so I think it should support some kind of wireless connection. I’m not sure if I need to install an app or change something in the settings on the TV or the phone. There’s no Apple TV device connected, and I don’t plan to get one. I’d appreciate any input on how this can be done. Is it possible to mirror directly from iOS, or is there another way I should look into?

Adding to that, something that tripped me up at first was making sure both devices were actually on the exact same Wi-Fi network. It’s not enough to just have them both online—they need to be connected to the same router signal, especially if you’ve got both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands running at home. Another thing to check is whether your TV has any kind of screen sharing or casting option in its settings menu. Some models hide that feature under different names, so it might take a bit of digging.
