Overview

Established in 1986 by the Victorian State Government, the Wodonga Institute of Technical and Further Education (TAFE) is administered by the Minister for Education and Training. The Institute provides quality vocational education and training, and adult, community and further education programs and services that promote the competitiveness of industry, enhance the opportunities of individuals, and service the needs of the general community. Wodonga Institute of TAFE is located in the twin cities of Albury Wodonga, on the border of Victoria and New South Wales. This area is one of the fastest-growing economies in regional Australia. Wodonga TAFE provides practical, hands-on training and education from certificate I to advanced diploma level across a range of industry areas. Their industry-simulated training facilities include specialist training centres such as the National Industrial Skills Training Centre and Motorsports Training Australia.
