To ensure that international students come prepared to Australia, the university provides pre-departure guidance discussing how to obtain a student visa, important documents to bring and the quarantine guide. Notre Dame also provides assistance in finding temporary accommodation for students.

After arriving in Australia, the university helps students find a permanent home. Accommodation options include shared accommodation, renting or leasing and homestays/full board. Notre Dame also guides students if they wish to open a bank account and telephone and internet access. Once students are settled in, they are required to attend orientations and international student activities. Aside from these services, Notre Dame has a wide array of international student scholarships.

Notre Dame offers a comprehensive scholarships program for undergraduate students. These scholarships are funded by the university, industry and non-profit organizations, which are available to potential and currently enrolled students.
