The SITCM Campus is at 25-29 Dixon Street, Haymarket (Levels 5, 6 and 7). SITCM offers a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (BTCM) which is accredited by TEQSA and approved by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) for practitioner registration in all three divisions: Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Dispensing, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The BTCM (CRICOS Course Code: 077676G) is authorized to be offered to international students in Australia on a student visa.
The BTCM is accredited by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Graduates are eligible for professional registration in all three divisions: Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Dispensing, and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses offered by SITCM are Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, Diploma of Remedial Massage, and Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage.
SITCM Campus has a dedicated Acupuncture Practice Room, a dedicated Herbal Processing Room, a Student Recreation Room, a Teaching Clinic, and a library.
Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) has a thirty-year history of providing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) education and continues to contribute significantly to the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) education in Australia.
SITCM was established in 1984 as the “NSW College of Natural Therapy”. The current trading name was registered in 1989 to provide a more direct and clear reference to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) education and to reflect SITCM’s primary purpose.
A minimum of 6.5 in the IELTS is required to get admission to the college. Other language tests accepted by the institute are TOEFL and PTE.
