Overview
Surfcity College has been training community leaders for 26 years. It is situated in Surfer Paradise, New South Wales, Australia. Students get biblical training at Surfcity College, learning how to understand and interpret the word of God. Students then combine this training with in-church service, where they can outwork their faith.
The college was originally established in 1991 by Ps David Cartledge, a great teacher in the Word of God under the name “King of Kings College”. Then two years later became “Gold Coast College of Christian Ministry”, the first ever Government Accredited Bible College on the Gold Coast. From there Ps Ralph Legge, a Baptist theologian took the reigns and we became Government approved for International Students as “Surfcity International Training College” (known as SCITC). In 2011 Ps Mark Sceriha and innovator moved Surfcity College forward until 2013 when Jonathon Scoones steered the college into a wonderful partnership with Alphacrucis College.
Surfcity College shares a common vision of its Key Stakeholder, Surfcity Christian Church Ltd. It is a Christian ministry training college setting in place God’s master plan for every student, equipping them to release sin, sickness and sorrow, teaching them to recover freedom, hope and purpose for all.
International students are required to have a minimum of 5.5 in IELTS in order to get admitted in the college. Applications for admissions close on December 31.
