Details | STEM scholarships at Meredith provide a unique opportunity for talented students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Meredith offers two STEM scholarships; AWE-STEM and Paschal. You can apply for both using this single application. The Advancing Women’s Education in STEM (AWE-STEM) Scholars receive a $4,500 scholarship per year, renewable for up to eight semesters or as appropriate for the student’s degree plan. The award is need and merit-based. Recipients must submit the FAFSA annually and demonstrate a minimum $4,500 in financial need to be considered for AWE-STEM Scholarship. Paschal Scholars receive a $500 scholarship per year, renewable for up to eight semesters or as appropriate for the student’s degree plan. The award is based on academic credentials and potential for success at Meredith. Submission of the FAFSA is not required. |

Details | The Award: Enriching the tradition of a strong music program, Meredith offers competitive scholarships to recognize outstanding musicians. These awards are renewed annually, for a total of four years, subject to the recipient's remaining in good standing, being a full-time student pursuing a major in music, and maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 on all courses taken at Meredith. Note: Students applying for talent scholarships are encouraged to apply to the College using the Early Action Application Plan and must be admitted to the College by the Talent Scholarship Application Deadline. How to Apply: Apply online* or submit the paper application and the Music Recommendation Form. The Music Scholarship deadline is January 15th. *If you choose to use the electronic version, log in using the Admissions Applicant Portal Temporary PIN or password you established after you submitted your application for admission to the College. Selection Criteria: To be considered for music scholarship students must be admitted to the college by January 15th. Scholarship recipients are selected based on musical talent, academic ability, previous performance, commitment to the field of music and potential achievement in the field. Students who wish to be considered for music scholarships should attend one of the two audition dates in late February (Scholars Weekend) or March. Students who audition in voice, piano, or another instrument will interview with the music faculty. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mid March.
