Flinders students are able to make industry connections and enhance their skills and experience through workplace and internship programs in Australia and overseas and by participating in the student exchange program.

Flinders University houses many overseas students and for this reason the institution created support services to address their needs. Prior to coming to Australia, students may download and read through an international student guide which is composed of three parts: a pre-departure guide, an arrival guide and an international student quick guide.

The university’s international student services offers a free meet and greet service for new international students upon arrival at the airport. After a student’s arrival, a briefing will follow. Orientations, on campus tours and academic support are also part of student support programs. Along with all these, the university also grants international student scholarships.

The annual undergraduate tuition fees are $24,400 for business courses, $25,000 for Arts/Education, and $30,700 for Engineering/Science.

Flinders offers a wide range of scholarships for students who are studying in the undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels. Scholarships are also offered for students who are studying courses under specific study areas such as education, humanities and law, medicine, nursing and health sciences, science and engineering and social and behavioral sciences.

Aside from all these, criteria-based scholarships are also available. Examples of criteria include exchange and overseas travel, international students and regional, rural or remote. The selection basis for all scholarships is through academic merit or financial need.
