Established in 1954, the Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College has helped shape the beauty, spa, and massage therapy industry in Australia over the past 62 years.
You will find Elly Lukas graduates working in leading salons, spas, resorts, retreats, hotels, department stores, luxury cruise liners, with cosmetic surgeons or owning their own businesses throughout Australia and indeed around the world. The College offers access to a number of local and international employment pathways, including Steiner U.K. who operate 150 spa’s onboard luxury cruise liners and Australia-wide industry internships.
Students can learn with the latest and greatest equipment including the Spa Studio with Vichy Shower, Steam Infusion and Hydrotherapy Tubs. The college’s new Make Up studio provides industry standard facilities for the students to develop their skills in a professional environment.
The College is one of the few institutions in the world to offer both nationally and internationally accredited beauty, massage and spa therapy qualifications through it’s registration with CIDESCO, ITEC and CIBTAC. The College is also registered by the Australian Government to accept international students. As a student in the SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy course, the education that students will receive meets both Australian and International standards.
The College is a member of the International Spa Association (ISPA), the Australasian Spa & Wellness Association (ASWELL) and the Australian Council for Private Education & Training (ACPET). Courses offered by the College are also registered by Centrelink, eligible students may apply for Youth Allowance or Austudy.
