Hartwig Air is the oldest established flying school at Parafield Airport, Australia’s Centre of Aviation Training Excellence.
Hartwig has a safety record spanning 49 years. Hartwig has trained over 3,000 combined commercial & private pilots till date. Hartwig graduates have flown for world’s leading airline carriers, including Qantas, British Airways, Air New Zealand, United Airlines, American Airlines and many more.
Hartwig Air has joined forces with Australia’s largest university, RMIT University. Together, Hartwig and RMIT University train commercial pilots under the Associate Degree of Aviation (Professional Pilots).
Hartwig Air is ISO 2001:2008 accredited. Since August 1996 Hartwig Air has had a compliant internationally certified quality management system. Hartwig Air have Government contracts that providing working opportunities and can be applied for by studying students. The contracts include the Shark Patrol service and then Regional Aviation Access Programme (RAPP) mail run service. It holds holds CRICOS visa accreditation for International students wanting to learn to fly in Australia.
