The Australian National University (ANU) is a public national research university located in Canberra, the capital of Australia. Its main campus in Acton encompasses seven teaching and research colleges, in addition to several national academies and institutes.
Undergraduate students at ANU can choose from many available course offerings. Areas of study include engineering and computer science, law, medicine, biology and environment, physical and mathematical sciences, arts and social sciences and business and economics. The university has created helpful support services to address international students. ANU has a number of scholarships available for students to help with the cost of their studies. Donors and benefactors, external organizations and the Australian government, fund many of the scholarships that the university offers. Eligibility and Requirements | The scholarship is available to a commencing ANU student who: is defined as an overseas student under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and does not hold a 995 visa (unless enrolling in an eligible postgraduate program); and has received an offer of admission to commence at the University in an eligible program (excluded programs listed above); and meets the conditions of the program for which they have received an offer of admission including the requirement to be onshore for some components (if applicable); and has not received the scholarship previously for the same level of study. |

Eligibility and Requirements | To apply for a Tuckwell Scholarship for study at ANU commencing in 2025, applicants must: be eligible to apply to study at ANU in 2025 via the ANU Direct Application system. commence and complete Year 12 full-time in 2024, at a school located in Australia. be 17, 18 or 19 years old on 17 February 2025 (born on or between 18 February 2005 and 17 February 2008), being commencement of Semester 1, 2025. be an Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or the holder of an Australian humanitarian visa, and be in possession of the relevant Birth Certificate, Citizenship Certificate or Visa by 24 May 2024, being the closing date for Stage 2 applications this year. |
